Duane x Jeanell

Details of the dress

Early cash registar

This past Friday a young couple took turn to the new chapter in both their lives. They celebrate the joining of their two family's.

The day started promptly at 12 pm when David and I arrived to take prepared shots of the bride and her bridesmaids. From there we went to the church, and we had a long gap between the time we arrived to the time of the ceremony. When the time arrived it started a little late due to family and friends still arriving late to the church.

Jeanell and Duane were a very fun loving couple. Everything about them was excitement with no nervousness. Though I was the second shooter, I focused more on the details that was taking place all around the ceremony.

Originally, there were plans to take after wedding ceremony photos at the Detroit Institute of Art, but due to the rain that idea was scrapped. As a back up plan we used the museum where the reception was held.  The museum itself was just a wonderful place as it represented Detroit in the early 1900's. In the lower level is where thrived the most. The reception was set up along what was an old Detroit cobblestone street with businesses surrounding it.

In the end everything was very beautiful, from the location to the couple themselves. I really enjoyed shooting this wedding.
