PhotoWalk:MI Garden

Keeping this one short and to the point. Photowalk MI had a walk that was in the Botanical Garden in Taylor. It was to practice any lighting style with speedlights or reflectors. I choose to do a lil of both. Only this time round I played the assistance role more than the photographer. as we had those who needed help understanding their equipment.

Collaboration

Lately I've been working with a great make-up artist (MUA) turned model. Let me tell you for someone who never modeled before does not have a problem taking direction and nails it every time. As great she is as a model she's an even greater MUA. I first met her during one of the Photowalk: Michigan group events, and she was one of the models that came out. I was the first to shoot her and she introduced herself as Tiffany (facebook) (instagram). We hit it off right off the back. We made the whole thing fun with no problems at all, as she was an empty canvas open to your ideas that one has.

Some time passed since that day, soon we connected again for an idea that I had for a while and she was down for it. No complaints or anything. We met in Farmington and shot at the Farmington Civic Theater. These shots come out wonderful I had no complaints at all.

A few weeks and I contacted Tiffany to makeup for my brother's girlfriend Taylor, who want to get into modeling. Without any problems she came thru and helped me out. As the makeup was perfect, it was lite and natural. Tiffany has skills with the brush.

With this I hope there is plenty of more work in the future between the two of us. This collaboration continues to bring positive energy. Head on over to Tiffany's Instagram and Facebook to more of her work. She also does some sweet special effect makeup as well.

Weekend Photo Walks

This past weekend I attend to photo walks, Saturday was lead by George Mitchell's mentor Rogers. Who challenged us not only to look at things differently but also step into the role of a model to get things in from the other side. Let me tell you, I know now how it feels to wait on direction and learn to pose better. For this walk we had Toni and Oni as our model subjects for Saturday.

Sunday was organized by the group I am in Photowalk:Michigan. This photo walk was in Lower Huron Park for a Autumn style shoot. Many of photographers came out to practice shoot with the models who came out to help. The models on the scene were Tiffany, who is special effect make-up artist, Kyron, Candy, Trina, Oni and youngster on the scene Meisha. It was a great to be shooting as the day was beautiful day for it.
