Weekend Photo Walks
This past weekend I attend to photo walks, Saturday was lead by George Mitchell's mentor Rogers. Who challenged us not only to look at things differently but also step into the role of a model to get things in from the other side. Let me tell you, I know now how it feels to wait on direction and learn to pose better. For this walk we had Toni and Oni as our model subjects for Saturday.
Sunday was organized by the group I am in Photowalk:Michigan. This photo walk was in Lower Huron Park for a Autumn style shoot. Many of photographers came out to practice shoot with the models who came out to help. The models on the scene were Tiffany, who is special effect make-up artist, Kyron, Candy, Trina, Oni and youngster on the scene Meisha. It was a great to be shooting as the day was beautiful day for it.
Photowalk Ann Arbor
For the first time I was able to participate in a photowalk with the PhotoWalk: Michigan facebook. I was able to finally meet a lot of people who holds the same interest as I do. We met up at the Panera Bread in Ann Arbor, and from there we headed to the Arborium. As a group we were able to enjoy the time we spent out there. Having fun just shooting with no critiques from outsiders.
I had so much fun doing this that I can't wait to join the next one. By this point work won't interfere with my outside activities.
“There are things which nobody would see unless I photographed them.”
“I see little of more importance to the future of our country and of civilization than full recognition of the place of the artist. If art is to nourish the roots of our culture, society must set the artist free to follow his vision wherever it takes him.”
