Doc McStuffin'
Last week my little cousin Kennedy celebrated her fourth birthday at Jungle Java. Even though majority of the party was late an half hour. Once the party girl arrived it was like watching a blur that went by every ten minutes. Not long after enjoying herself Doc McStuffin arrived to enjoy some time with the kids of the play place. Not long after a while more kids began to arrive included in those kids was my niece D'Anna. Upon arrival she was gone right into the play area.
All the kids really enjoyed themselves. When it came to singing her happy birthday that was a whole different story. It was as if she did not want anyone to sing to her. She Just wanted to continue to play and nothing else.
In the end of the two hour excitement, Kennedy really enjoyed herself on her day of celebration.

Back in the first week of August, I was able to do my first destination wedding that took place in Miami. When I arrived, it was at the Palms Hotel and Spa in Miami Beach. The location was very beautiful setting where it was held. Upon arrival at the hotel I met up with bride and groom (Brandon and Sha'Dawn) and just wondered around Miami. During the time there was a lot of construction, but we did not let deter us from enjoying the scenery.
Tuesday was the ceremony that had a beautiful wedding on the beach with a beautiful backdrop with the ocean behind us. Just like most weddings it was a rocky start with the whole preparation from both bride and groom. Before the time of the wedding, rain was in the forecast, and both Brandon and Sha'Dawn was worried their ceremony would be rained out. We was lucky that the weather held out. Being on the beach it was hotter than what we expected. As the ceremony start we were missing the brides parents, so that put a little snagged, but they were found and everything was smooth sailing.
In the end, I really enjoyed my first destination wedding and was very happy that I was chosen to capture this moment for this beautiful couple. I can't wait for my next one.
Travel - Seattle
About a two weeks ago I flew to Seattle for a day to experience something new in my life. Just like any place I've been to, the first thing that I notice is their transit system is way better than that here in Detroit.

One of the first stops I made was to the stadium for both the Seattle Mariners (baseball) and Seattle Seahawks (football). While it was fairly easy to get there, it was a little harder to get a good shot of both stadiums.
While at the stadiums I hung around for a good hour taking pictures and trying my hand at street photography. Finally I made me way to my destination of Downtown Seattle. While there I explored and wandered. After getting lost for a minute I finally made way to Pike Place Market which is a sweet little street market with plenty of street vendors, restaurants, and merchandise for people of all types. As being out all day I needed to find something eat, I came across Athenian. Athenian is a fairly expensive restaurant, but it comes with a beautiful view of the ports while customers enjoy their meals.

Before making this trip I learned that on of the greatest marital artist resting and his son place was in Seattle so it was only right that I go and pay my respects. It didn't take long for me to reach the cemetery location. Lake View cemetery name does not lie. Once reach a certain peak of the cemetery you get a beautiful sight that is just memorizing. As I was there, there were others who also came to pay their respect and take pictures.

To round out the last hours of my trip I went to Seattle Space Needle and to the pier before heading home, the needle was something of courage. I have a major alto phobia (fear of heights). Getting pictures of the scenery was somewhat of a difficult task but I managed to do it. In the end I captured very beautiful images while 512 feet in the air.
